Virtual Checkup
We are excited to be able to provide treatment care for our patients by offering virtual checkups! However our physical office is still mandated for closure due to the unprecedented circumstances stemming from Covid19. Even though our office space is closed, our practice is still very much open. We have our team answering phones, emails, texts and now setting you up for your virtual checkup!
With the use of our Virtual Checkup platform, you will submit your photos and include any details regarding your treatment. Our orthodontist, will review your information. They will send you their assessments and what next steps to take.
Are you a candidate for a virtual checkup?
Invisalign Checkups:
We can now provide virtual checkups for our Invisalign patients. After your checkup, the doctor may recommend delivering you more aligners. If that is the case, we can have aligners mailed to you. If you are on your final aligner or waiting for a new scan, you may be able to wear your last aligner at nights only.
Retainer Checks:
We can now provide virtual checkups to check on your retainer. Wearing your retainer is super important to maintaining your smile. We can check on how your teeth look and answer your retainer questions.
Braces Adjustments:
We can now provide virtual checkups for our braces patients. The technology in our braces and wires keeps your teeth moving and aligning throughout this time. Very often, our regular visits allow us to check on poky wires, rubber band use and check on the progress of your teeth. Your virtual checkup will allow the doctors to check on your progress. We can also give you new recommendations- like for your rubber bands. And we can offer advice on anything else you are experiencing with your braces.
Growth and Observation:
We are now able to provide virtual consultations for our “growth and observation” patients. We already have existing xrays and photos on you. With the new images you provide, our doctors will be able to assess the development of your teeth. You and your child will know whether you need braces or Invisalign now or in the future.

Procedures that Do Not Qualify for Virtual Checkups
Removing Braces:
We love removing braces for our patients as it signifies a great accomplishment and the reward of a great smile. However, aerosol generating procedures like dental cleanings and removing braces are not recommended at this time. Removal of braces will need to be rescheduled for our in office visits when it is safe to do so. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you so much for understanding that this is totally out of our control.
Putting Braces On:
Putting braces on is a big deal! A lot of our patients think this visit is fun and awesome! Unfortunately, it means it is not done as an emergency and we will have to reschedule your appointment when this crisis has passed. We look forward to seeing you for this epic visit!
