People want to know what are some safe foods to eat while in braces? 7 out of 10 times we always get this specific question from our patients:

Q: Can I eat a burger with braces? Can I eat sushi with braces?

A: Yes, you can eat a burger AND sushi with braces. Remember to chew carefully. You can also cut your food into bite size pieces.

A few days after getting your braces on or after an adjustment, you may feel sensitivity or soreness in your teeth. During this time, you may need to stick to a diet of softer foods.

Remember to be careful while chewing your food and always avoid eating anything very sticky or hard while you have braces on. You can cut up your food into bite size pieces.
